The Mediterranean offshore regattas are an excellent training ground to face up to more challenging ocean races later on.
Races such as the Roma x2 and x1, the 500x2, the Giraglia Cup, the Middle Sea Race all have great courses in the marvelous Mediterranean playground, in different areas affected by widely diverse weather conditions with sudden changes, typical of the mare nostrum, and characterized by spectacular natural landscapes.
Andrea gained experience precisely in this way, to the sound of Rome x2, x1, and Middle Sea Race, a perfect testing ground to sail then across the ocean.
